Staalmanhaken

We’re very proud to announce that the crochet fence on the staalmanpark has just been completed.

With the help of many inhabitants of the neighborhood, of all ages, inclinations and skill levels, we have been able to make and install 60 meters of hand-crocheted rope fence on the west side of the park. 

We’re hoping the fence will enjoy a long and peaceful life under the watchful eye of the staalman bear and our team of little guardians.

If you would like to become an adoptive parent for the project, please get in touch with us! Your role would be to keep on eye on the fence, and notify us of any damages, and eventually adding or replacing panels on the fence if necessary.

The project is live! Yesterday for the opening of the staalmanpark we hung the crochet pieces made and delivered by the participants from the neighbourhood.
